Hello and Welcome
Everyone wants family portraits, but no one wants those cheesy pictures churned out by jaded photographers. My work is acclaimed for creating beautiful, natural family portraits. In order to make your photoshoot go as successfully as possible, I have created a bespoke process that starts with an in person consultation at your home, where I listen to exactly what you have in mind and help you plan the ideal photoshoot.
My work centres around photographing you in your landscape. Because my own family is scattered, I love to celebrate the togetherness of your families. I also offer personal branding portraiture and business portraits. It’s about celebrating you and the people you love.
As a child I borrowed my mother’s Yashica SLR. So began a love affair with photography and my mother never got her camera back! After a very academic education, I started out as a writer for Time Magazine in Paris in 1998. Returning to London, I started working for The Independent, The Telegraph, Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar and various other publications, taking my camera along on assignments, interviewing celebrities and writing about travel. Soon photography demanded centre stage for me and I was lucky to work with leading photographers and study with Central St Martins. I’ve been working as a photographer since 2001.
I truly believe it gives children a sense of belonging and confidence to see their family portraits captured as family heirlooms. There is not a single portrait of my own family together and I think that would have helped growing up. It makes me all the more passionate about celebrating families in photographs. Looking forward to collaborating with you!

Mission
Someone once said that Nature is the Divine Presence in the world. By its very essence, nature is beautiful, and so are we when we are close to our own true selves. My work aims to serve by illuminating, encouraging and uniting people through beautiful, natural and luminous art.
I strive to make Fiona Campbell Photography as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible, sourcing recycled and renewable materials wherever possible.
5% of profits go towards supporting the wonderful Cardinal Hume Centre which does such great work in turning around the lives of homeless young people and to Actionaid, probably the most effective and targeted of the international development agencies.
