A martini at Dukes is one of the must do experiences of London. I’m not usually a martini drinker, but these taste so delicious that they are unmissable. I know this, because I went on my first date with my now boyfriend here three years ago! The decor reminds me of a smart gentleman’s club with a bit of cutting edge design thrown in for good measure. Classically English. On the one hand I love doing classes with my boyfriend  and I think they make a great couple’s- or indeed singles – night out. Also learning the secrets of Alessandro’s martinis would be very enlightening. On the other hand I rather like sitting stately in one of Duke’s chairs, having my crystalline martini brought to me, full to the brim.Be warned – two of these will just about have you under the table. Certainly a good place to recover from the woes of wedding planning!Enjoy!
